External MCP servers contribute functions discovered when connected. Runtime-specific tools, background mechanisms and administration screens are not counted as additional native functions. A function count measures neither quality nor simultaneous availability.
Datasets extend existing file tools
The total remains 131 native functions. file_create accepts document_type="dataset"; file_read and file_edit operate on JSON lines; writes preserve type and validate complete content with its revision. file_append still appends text, not an array entry.
